Dal 23 giugno al 29 agosto 2024 si terrà a Cremona la quattordicesima edizione del Cremona Summer Festival, con un programma ricco di concorsi, masterclass e concerti. Studenti, accompagnatori e insegnanti di strumenti ad arco, di pianoforte e di strumenti a fiato, arriveranno in città per suonare nella terra di Stradivari, provenienti dalle nazioni di tutto il mondo.

Il Cremona Summer Festival è un festival estivo che funge da contenitore per attività didattiche connesse alla liuteria ed è organizzato dalla Camera di Commercio di Cremona con l’Istituto Superiore di Studi Musicali “Claudio Monteverdi”, con il patrocinio e la collaborazione del Comune di Cremona, del Consorzio Liutai “Antonio Stradivari” Cremona e della Cremona International Music Academy. Il Cremona Summer Festival ha il supporto e la collaborazione del Casalmaggiore International Music Festival, del Festival delle Orchestre Giovanili di Firenze, della Scuola Internazionale di Liuteria, del Museo del Violino, del Touring Club di Cremona, della Strada del Gusto Cremonese, delle Botteghe del Centro e del Distretto Urbano del Commercio

The 14th edition of the Cremona Summer Festival will take place in Cremona from June 23rd June to August 29th 2024. It features a full program of competitions, masterclasses and concerts. Students, parents and teachers of stringed instruments, piano and wind instruments from around the world will arrive in town to take part in the Cremona Summer Festival to play in the land of Stradivari.

The Cremona Summer Festival is a festival that serves as a venue for educational activities related to the violin. It is organized by Chamber of Commerce of Cremona and “Claudio Monteverdi“ Music Institute for academic studies of Cremona, with the contribution of Lombardy Region and the City of Cremona, in collaboration with Consortium of Violinmakers “Antonio Stradivari” Cremona, Cremona International Music Academy, Casalmaggiore International Music Festival and The Florence International Festival of Youth Orchestras. The Cremona Summer Festival is supported by and collaborates with the Antonio Stradivari Cremona International Violin Making School, the Violin Museum, the Touring Club, the Strada del Gusto Cremonese and the Shops of the City Centre and the Distretto Urbano del Commercio. The commitment and the common desire to focus on Cremona - city of music and violin making - can be demonstrated by the fact that the concerts of the Cremona Summer Festival are partly included in other exhibitions and events already scheduled in the territory in order to boost the promotional effects and to further encourage turnout.
