At the start of the second edition of TUM, the musical tourism festival, is an unprecedented and original event in the Italian panorama to connect the operators of music and tourism to allow the general public to discover the Italian musical heritage.
The 2022 edition of the Music Tourism Festival theme is "Polisfonie", symbolizing the union of the different voices of institutions, communities, and industry operators, who will gather during the Festival days, to create a shared melody representative of their territory.
A musical journey of five days including concerts, industry conferences, Working tables, and unique itineraries to deepen the knowledge of one of the jewels of the national musical heritage and to present to the public a different way of perceiving music and travel related to it, starting from one of the most beautiful musical cities in Italy: Cremona.
A Special Project to celebrate and spread the knowledge of the local lute art and the historical characters linked to it, commemorating the figure of the famous luthier Guarneri del Gesù given the 280 anniversary of the construction of his most famous violin: The Cannon belonged to Paganini. 
The Festival will be presented again in a hybrid form between physical and digital, with 2 days online and 3 in presence in Cremona.
The Festival del Turismo Musicale 2022 is a project supported by the Ministry of Culture through the Fondo Unico Dello Spettacolo among the Special Projects 2022 - Music Section, with the support of the Municipality of Cremona, the Chamber of Commerce of Cremona, Antonio Stradivari and the Department of Musicology and Cultural Heritage of the University of Pavia.
